First Graders love to weave!

Kindergarten students worked together on a group painting.

First Graders painted an illustration for the story The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush.

Third Graders learned about Mexican Bark Painting.

Second Graders created a textured tile with their name in clay.

Sixth Graders are printmaking. Creating Pop Art self portraits in the style of Andy Warhol.

Pre Kindergarten artists are working on turkey tiles...

...And doing a great job at clean up time.

 

Fourth Graders started working on faculty and staff portraits for the Thanksgiving Liturgy.

 

Seventh Graders are using clay leaves to create an autumn bowl.

 

Eighth Graders are working on abstract paintings.

October 25

 

Third Graders examined the patterns they found in leaves to create beautiful designs that were painted with watercolor paint.

 

Fifth Graders are learning about the work of Pop Artist Keith Haring. Keith was a boy from Kutztown, Pennsylvania, who started his career drawing graffiti in the New York City subway - now his bright, simple figures are loved by people around the world, including our Fifth Graders!

Kindergarten had fun using Halloween stamps this week.
