As we finish the last week of art classes,  PK created an underwater scene with lots of fish. 
It was messy but fun!



Kindergarten students looked at Pablo Picasso's The Flowers of Peace.




First graders have been studying China. 
In art class we created Chinese Scroll Paintings.



Second graders have been studying Japan.
In art class we made Japanese Fish Kites and Gyotaku. (Japanese Fish Prints)
In Japan they use real fish, we used rubber fish!

HCA celebrated Earth Day during Community Time this week.


Fifth and Sixth Graders worked in the art room making recycled paper and painting rocks.

First graders are making clay flowers for the garden.

 

Second Graders won a free clay day in art this week.


Fifth grade is doing a great job with perspective drawing.


Sixth graders created African Adinkra Cloth with stamps.
