Fall

Pre Kindergarten explored some new clay tools.
They pressed leaves into the clay to create an impression.

Kindergarten students also used leaves this week.  They created leaf prints by painting the leaf and printing an image on their paper. They used brayers (rollers) for the first time.  They also observed the patterns in leaves and painted with watercolors.

First Graders learned about symmetry by observing masks of the world.
They created their own mask using symmetry and patterns.

Fifth Graders have been learning about the work of Pop artist Keith Haring.
They created their own life size graffiti style self portraits.

Eighth Graders prepare for next week's Halloween Mission Party.
